In that case, IMO you want the3" Downpipe from Hayward and Scott, with the flush exhaust flange at the bottom, so it meets neatly with the Hipers flush exhaust flange.
Thats what i have on my car ATM, and i have had a few different combinations.
Hope that helps

You taking about the downpipe or he whole system?
Hiper is LOUD IMO.
Performance, it seems to have freed up a little lower down grunt in my car, but then i suspected i was restricting it with the 2 previous systems.

Both the Super Dragger and the Hiper have 3" pipework.
I was told to keep the 2.5" downpipe to get some sort of back pressure and help spool up.
So yes a 2.5" downpipe will fit, although a 3" maybe better, depending on other modifications.

i know the dragger and hiper are 3" systems, i just thought the style of the flange where it joins the downpipe is different, the dragger being designed to suit the standard downpipe better, which is 2.5".

Flanges are the same for both HKS systems, both "std" and 3" downpipes will mate up to either no problem.
As to performance the Hiper is a less restrictive exhaust by far, I run the 3" version with a Hiper ... seems to work.
cheers

Locating the sensor in the downpipe as opposed to the headers is better in terms of its exposed to lower EGTs, hence lasts longer (I think ) but its not essential that you do this.
