i am interested in a boost controller (even though i am yet to know what is boost :-)


what shall i get manual or auto

depends what you want to spend- the dawes device from JW Racing represents excellent value for money and produces very good results, but you need to monitor it properly and don't be too greedy with your desire for boost

 

I want one too.. which is the best? .. price not an issue...

 

Best? APEXi AVC-R Most $$? Yup AVC-R ......

 

I like the HKS one or the Trust ones

 

BLITZ SBC-ID more style easy to use

 

AVCR is good and looks the part, but may suffer from slight inaccuracy of boost control due to solenoid size, id go for the HKS EVC, supposed to be top notch..or the greddy profec b, very simple, nothing flash but does the job.

 

Neither have rpm based boost control as AVC-R. Solenoid is good for 2 bar boost....all IMHO..!

 

I have used most of the "top level devices). The Apexi stuff is top Notch. The HKS EVC And Greddy units are also excellent.

What do people suggest for mechanical/manual boost alteration?

What is the most boost you can expect from the dawes device? (Safely!)
