Question

due to standard regulator allowing fuel pressure to climb to 3.5/3.6 bar on idle i am looking to replace with uprated one.can anyone who has replaced theirs give some info on internal workings of standard one.realise top pipe is vacuamn hose but what is the one that joins metal pipe running towards center of engine is this the return to the fuel tank.does fuel actually flow thru the regulator or is it manifold pressure that controls it.
