Hi all

i have problem with my impreza turbo model 2001 WRX the chek engine is on!!!

i go to carrage but they reset the ecu and it goes of but affter i go out it turn on?

So some time on some time off i feel my WRX work fine but i do not the cause of this problem,any ides??]

but it seam my impreza ok,but just a note when am standing my car have notecable vaibreation!

Hi,
Next visit at your dealer, just ask what code it was... Vibration at idle can be produced by a defective sensor, a missaligned cam shaft, bad spark plug...

I had this problem. I solved it by taking the bulb for the 'check engine' light out and it's been perfect ever since!

It could be any number of any sensors, so you really need to know what fault code it is displaying, however, a couple of possibilities:

If you've changed the exhaust for a decat, it's probably the catalyst inefficiency code (0420 IIRC). If you haven't, another common problem is the EGT sensor in the up-pipe. I posted a fix to both of those in drivetrain the other day: try a search on DIY CEL fix. Neither of these problems should cause unusual vibration at idle.

Soon i will go to the dealer to check with him if there is a code as you said..!

I have clean the downpipe sansor and some time its ok and the light go off but some time is not!!

I have not change my exsuhast system my WRX 2001 is stander but am planing soon to wake the monster taking you advies.

About the vibration from idel,my WRX is vaibrat just when am not moving but when i move its normal it chake me when am inside so strongly i feel the vibration!!!

I donnot know if its from a sansorers or from my turbo silonid or even what am affread of a piston is detonation!!!!

But there is no heat rise i feel its normal in crusing,i will go and see in the carrage and soon iget the code or any theing i will send you back.
