I've just ordered one of these as the foam type filter i had, had bits of foam sucked into the engine, very scary, i'd prefer a bit of very fine dust than a clump of foam. The foam filter was only six months old and wasn't a cheap one £249.

i went to halfords the other night, and saw an air filter, like the blitz (stainless steel mesh etc) for £100, the guy said it was made by Piper-cross aswell, but it had a different name, does anybody know the name because i've forgot?
cheers

I've got one of those from *cough* Halfords *cough* It's called S-Spec or something i think. Fitting kit was crap because i have a MY97 and the one they list for MY97 is actually for pre 97 so it didn't fit Halfords sorted me a fitting kit for one that was listed as being MY98 and that fitted OK.

Pipercross need to sort out there MY's
