I have a oct 93 WRX jap import. Drove it to work stoped by the door took some things out went to move it to park it and it jad stoped running tried to restart it would not go turn over ok but would not fire thought it was flooded left it for a while came back out tried again and it would kind of start but mould not rev then noticed Check enging light is on and also what looks like an exhaust box with a heat haze coimg off it now my car does not have a cat for about 4 months neither does it have the temp unit been told it does not need it any ideas as I am stuck in work.

I have done a fault code check and it came up with TBI control unit has any one got any idea what this is? Also been told that it could have jumped a tooth on the timing belt that it is quiet common any one else heard this?

I only know of one car to jump a belt...

check crank and cam position sensor..

Right have checked the belt it is ok still timed up properly have spark but don't have any fuel supply can any one please give me an idea of where the relay and fuse for the pump is located as all writing is in Japanese. Or any ideas what it could be.

sounds like it could be one of these crank or cam position sensor..
