Question

Fitting my Dawes AFR and not sure which wire to tap into on the ECU..

Scott T kindly said white with silver tracer on bottom connector and pin 6 B43..

But which is the bottom connector on this picture

Not my actual ECU but the layout is the same

Many many thanks

Not being funny Simon, but i think the picture you have used is actually from a Left hand drvie car IMO.

Ring Mr Wallis, he will tell you.

I am an idiot!!!

Had taken the ECU out to fit an Upgrade and so couldn't tell which was the bottom plug/socket..

Put it back in and it is obvious!

Car goes much better due to the upgrade, bit of overboost in first but put that down to dirty boost controller.. or it was wheel spin... not sure.. only did a quick test drive.. it was -2 out there so intake temps low too.. pulled like a train in 2nd, 3rd , 4th and 5th...

P20SPD,

Cheers.. and you are right it is a left hand drive ecu picture, borrowed from another thread..

I was tempted to ring Mr Wallis but didn't want to pester him unneccesarily, he offered his assistance with the ECU upgrade not the AFR.. although I am sure he wouldn't have minded.. then it got late...

AFR not working properly though.. if connected to ecu signal I get nothing... if I then disconnect the ecu signal it lights the red, then green, then yellow and stays on Blue LED like a start up sequence.. connect to signal again and the blue light goes out!!??

Any ideas?

Errrmm no.. I assumed I would get some read out straight away..

The lights going out were a bit weird when it was connected..

I'll try it on the way to work tomorrow then,, connect it up and drive off.. if the reading is outside the range of the lights anyone know if it will leave the nearest light on?? ie. if richer than the richest led will it still light the rich one???

Cheers
