Question

Hi folks,

Could any of you folks with a link in their STi 4 please let me know which version of the software you are running (push edit up button on hand controller, i.e. WRXroad Sept 01) And if it`s 6 or 10 row ?

Thanks

Pete

Pete,

Unless things have changed very recently, there isn't a 10 row Link available for the pre '99 cars.

Mark.

I'd love to help Pete - but I don't have a hand controller [YET]
Too scared that I'll start to mess about with the settings and blow the car up

Only six row and it will be dated earlier this year if its latest, last change was when they PC enabled it (and the MY92-96 chips)

Question

Thanks guys.

Could any of you please advise me on the TPS question ?
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=159464 I`m having a few difficulties after fitting a reconned STi4 in my 93 / 94 WRX. It appears i`m only getting a total TPS span of less than 90, when reading the hand controller After setting the throttle closed value to 10 the throttle full open value seems to go down (cycle negative) to 231 Obviously I dare not start the car till this is resolved.
I think this may have something to do with the engine change, as the WRX had a 4 wire TPS but the STi4 having a 3 wire one ???
Bob I`m running the pc link enabled WRXroad Sept 01 software, is this the latest version then?

Thanks again

Pete

All you need to do is keep adjusting each end until its right at both ends so change the top, check and re-adjust bottom, check and re-adjust top etc and so on, eventually it will be right at both ends, you have to set this up on a car by car basis so it was always going to be different.

Edited to say that the WRXroad designated software was for MY92-96 cars ... a version 4 ecu should have a letter "issue" after it's software which should be MY97Q as latest, the WRXRDQ is the latest 92-96 version.

cheers

bob
