electronic boost controllers, r they just a toy? or r they a must have?? iv gota p1 + im planin on gettin it remapped sumtim next year. im getin a few bit put on my car ready 4 the remap. boost gauge, intercooler hoses + a turbo timer. mayb a eleictronic boost controller aswell??? rnt sure tho. is there anything else i sud get put on ready 4 the remap??? cheers

 

The remap can include modified boost control too - are you going to replace ecu, or remap the original?

IMHO, change the exhaust, fit a boost gauge and knocklink and get a remap. Leave the rest.

 

no im keepin the same ecu, iv gota a center/backbox already. thinkin about a full decatt tho. its just mot tim. what a pain. whats a knocklink john??? i was thinkin about a few days in scoland next year 2 get the remap done!

 

Just put your centre back in to pass the MOT if it is in good condition or borrow some garage's twin centre cat.
