A CRY OUT FOR HELP

Help. P1 was in for a service yesterday, and in addition 4 x Goodyear F1's put on, geometry checked by a tyre dealer in Colchester, but my steering wheel is not straight anymore, it goes slightly left. Hummm??? :-(

Can anyone tell me what the P1 requires, he reckons cos all the alignment is in GREEN, its okay... im taking it back in tomorrow, but in the meantime can anyone help

In your little black folder in the glove box should be a P1 supplement book containing all the info you require. If not I'll have a look at mine, let me know...

As in the steering wheel is not straight when car is driven straight?

If so then they did not straighten the steering wheel before the did the tracking.

Mine was like that, then I got tyres northampton to do the tracking on mine when the tyres were changed. Bingo straight steering wheel

Red face

Sounds like the've only adjusted one track rod to set the tracking!!!
They should have done both to make sure the wheel is centred

Wheel alignment settings are:-

Minimum, Maximum
Front Toe-In (total) 0 degrees 02 min, 0 degrees 10 min
Rear Toe-In (total) 0 degrees 25 min, 0 degrees 35 min
Front Camber -1 degree 20 min, -1 degree 10 min
Rear Camber -1 degree 55 min, -0 degree 25 min

Makes no sense to me

I think the comment about getting the stering wheel straight and doing the alignment again is the best bet. The settings mean nothing to me...
