now after owning my scoob for 2 days i noticed a problem,
its 100% standard MY00 Impreza GT (im in iceland if that matters)
when im driving it seems to be reciving different fuel flow.
I work at the Icelandic Subaru Dealership and bought the car from them, and i know of one similar problem with a MY00 car then they changed the ECU.
i just wanted to be sure if scoobynet folks knew what it was.

Can you explain what you mean by it seeming to have different fuel flow?

Question

Do you just get this when the car is cold and at around 2.5-3k rpm?

Wink

Its a common fault with the ecu, we call it hesitation and there is only one real way around it, change the ecu to an older one
You need to get your hands on a AE800 or an AE801 ecu (your car has an AE802 fitted), this will cure the problem (or atleast make it less noticable).

They are 780, 781 and 782 in Europe equivalent to our 800, 801 or 802. The 780/800, 781/801 are the better ones, but they still hesitate when cold. They do make more power and torque than the AE782/802 though.

Forgot to say, you can fit 800/801 ECU in a European car - just put the circuit board in your left hand drive AE782 case.

Get the dealer to sort it under warranty - if they can...
