Help?Dawes AFM MY01

Fitted dawes AFM yesterday and blue light is on constantly,wired into ECU D2 yellow/blue for 12v power,B19 red/green for ground and B16 white for signal.Would be grateful if anyone let me know if this is correct or why blue light is on?

PS I would still tend to use another live feed away from the ECU and that negative from the battery as per the Dawes instructions.
