Does anyone if it matters if you dont have the turbo heat shield in place as since ive had my downpipe changed its not been refitted.
car is a my02 wrx

Get it refitted ASAP, it does help to keep the underbonnet temperatures down.

Junior hacksaw? Nah. I used my little angle grinder with a cutting disc, much less effort.

Assuming your user name implies where you come from, pop along to one of the "maidstone and district" meets to show us how you got on. Keep an eye on the Southern forum for any posts started by Hol, expecting one any day soon now . . . .

Oops, sorry - must have missed you at the last one . Arrived on the back of 6 consecutive late and heavy nights so I wasn't quite with it at the time. Look forward to comparing mods next time.
