Question

Is there anything I need to be aware of if I have to disconnect the battery to change for a new one ?
It's an MY00 UK std turbo, I know I'll probably loose all the radio presets and reset the ECU, but does it mess with the alarm ?

DONT KNOW WHAT ALARM YOU HAVE (WHOOPS SHOUTING)but i was in hospital for 6 weeks and the battery went flat as a pancake.(my01) charged it up connected it back and everything worked a treat,so dont have to worry, just watch the alarm incase it thinks you are trying to override it.
ps if you have a reactive tracker ie one where if your car moves then it goes off, this could be triggered by battery power removal.
soultion tell the tracking company what you are anout to do
good luck.
