Hello,
I keep reading about knocklink and how it's really good, but I have no idea what it is!
So, can anyone tell me what knocklink is and what it does? thanks
Cheers,
Crawf

Every Impreza that is modified at all or is an import should have one IMHO. http://www.brdevelopments.com/link.html see this page and scroll down to Knocklink. Bob keeps them in stock and delivers PDQ.

anyone got the size of the box that the knock link is packaged in.
I am thinking of removing the stereo and fitting the knocklink in the din slot.
Will it fit ?
Cheers

Well, don't talk to him as if he's 'just' a salesman! What's wrong with someone who's not into pandering the customer, but is instead more interested in a quick & quality service. And BR developments do the quality (read 'expensive') stuff, which means it's... expensive. So it's a bit take the quality, or leave it.
Anyhoo, I'll go away now. Brief rant over I just like having a 'salesman' who doesn't try to flog stuff for a change

Nowt wrong with the "salesmans" product knowledge.
just the way he came across,
I'm not going to "cut my nose off to spite my face" so to speak.
If they have a price competetive (sp?) with other companys I will come back.
Advertised product £85 ish
call them up, ask about sensors, cable etc and the price jumps to over £150, didn't expect that so came away without purchasing to "check" others prices.

I first thought that about Branko..... said they'd never map a car older than MY99 cos they're all on the verge of blowing up anyway!!!! But after spending a while on the phone you get to see his point of view and you can discuss things over (seems if i do get a LINK they'd now be happy to map it).
I'd have no hestitation buying anything from them again.... plus you won't find the knocklink any cheaper anywhere else.
Tony.

The £85 is just for the knocklink box (the led unit), you can use the standard knock sensor if you like, but its not advised. Therefore the sensor is extra.
Quality product IMHO, certainly makes you lift off when it lights up like a christmas tree
Branko can sound off putting, but at the end of the day he is trying to give you the best advice possible. If you dont like speaking to him, then just mail bob, but its slower.
When i first spoke to him i was a bit pissed off because he sort of put down about. Afterwards on reflection, everything he said made sense, and the only reason he sounded blunt was because he did not go round the houses trying to explain things, which i prefer.
100% happy with Bob and Branko of BR Developments.

Knock Link= £150+£3.00 postage. Delivery next day. That along with an air fuel meter should go on every car to undergo anything but the most minor of mods before the modding begins. This allows familiarisation with operating perameters and changes after a particular mod are qyickly and easily spotted.
In March I fitted an APS cold air kit and within 10mls picked up no.2 piston in the bore. Very expensive in relation to the cost of Knock Link and A/F and with these I am confident it would not have happened.
As for Branco make allowances for the cultural differences. I think he is from the Balkans or further East but his heart will be in the right place. Really just a ***** cat.
