hi was just wondering if u guys new all the differences between the 93 spec and series 5 wrx styling wise. I know they have different bumpers spoiler and front grill and the lights look clear,
but is the bonnet a different shape, are the lights a different shape. Are all the bits interchangable?

Would like to whack some series 5-6 bits on my wrx but wanted to know if itd be a straight swop or a bodyshop job

The headlights are a different shape, and so is the bonnet (slightly)

Both are interchangable. You will need a new style front grille as well to go with the new front lights.

Also, the intercooler shape is different, so be careful that you get enough airflow over it. (I believe you can put the metal plate from the underside of the old bonnet scoop on the new bonnet to make that work)

As you said, the front bumper & front indicators is different on the newer cars, and the back bumper is also subtly different on the newer cars. Both have compatible mounting points.

Not sure what else... I'll keep thinking...

i assume if the lights are different the slam pannel probably is too to accomodate them. Are they only different on the inside edge? if not the wings may be slightly different to fit them

As far as I remember, they are different on the inside edge and along the top, however, I think they still fit in the slam panel the same.

The sidelights are the same on either model, so there is no headlight contact with the wing.

cheers m8 want a jap kit so the bumpers n stuff dont matter just wanted new style headlights coz theyre really nice
