Turbo timer wires
#1
Hi,
Ive just bought an HKS type 0 turbo timer. Ive taken off the steering column surround looking for the connection block im supposed to connect the timer harness into the middle of, which I cant find. Im not sure If im looking in the right place but it says in the instructions to look there, has anybody any ideas?
Also, It has a wire to go to an rpm signal wire which has to be a 5 volt digital signal. Does the subaru have this or is it a 12 volt analogue signal?
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks,
Roy.

I would really like to know what I need to dismantle to be able to fit the Timer. The steering shroud needs to be taken off to locate the connector, but what about when connecting to the hand brake. What requires to be taken apart for that?

with my Apexi turbo timer for the hand brake it has one of those little electro-taps
you get from most auto parts shop to join two wires together the blue ones you close with pliers. This just gets clipped to the handbrake switch, I am guessing this is under the arm rest somewhere.
