A rather mad idea for an TMIC
#1
(and this is patented by me, so bog off anyone who steals this idea!)
All TMICs are mounted flat and square.
Is it feasible to alter the shape of these so that ...
a) they become trapezoid in shape
b) the tapered end 'curls' upwards into the scoop slightly, so there's a direct flow of air.
c) the scoop is modified to feed air to the bottom end of the intercooler (another splitter thingy?) while the top end gets direct feed
Is this completely mad ?
No white coats necessary.....

If anybody should steal your idea I have the original email you sent me regarding you plan stored on my system
I though my idea of pole mounting a huge intercooler 3 feet above the car was better though. Lots of air and no heat soak

Forgive me father for I am about to sin!
You could save on production and mounting costs by stretching that black tape holding your windscreen in place over the intercooler to keep it 3ft above the car!
Cheers
