Having driven home from work tonight and arriving at my house, I'm very surprised to find water leaking out from the engine, upon finding the leak under the engine I noticed that the top of the expansion bottle had corroded. Upon checking the top of the bottle the rubber hose broke off in my hand and I had hot water all over me which did burn much and the words that came out of my mouth I dare not repeat on these boards, I'm ok now but I'm without a bottle and unable to drive my car

I'm now in need of another one and I have a jap import MY95 WRX

Anyone know where I can purchase another one from?

had a collins and it does the same thing, ain't there two types of dumpe valve? atmospheric is one and one of them cause the problem and the other doesn't??

 

I know they are totally crap, thats why i got the metal one, that way its very unlikly it will go again...
