Exhaust related performance issues

I've just been talkin to markus, and he's a little worried about his exhaust.
He's been leaving 'deposits' in there (ever since his gf got a puncture) and was worried about any performance impacts due to restricted airflow?
He's not a big lad, but he's got a lot in him. Well, he did have
Anyway, after patching himself up with some soothing anti-burn cream, he said the car didnt quite feel the same....
