Hi

Took My car on to Tilleys of bristol on tuesday for the first service since i bought the car. Since i ve had it back when accelerating in third,forth or fifth as the turbo kicks in the car holds back then accelerates again then holds back just like its being starved of fuel of something.
Doesn't do it everytime but it didn't do it before the service.
Any Ideas

Gonna try and answer my own question here.

At the very same time i filled up with esso super unleaded.
were as before i had Shell optimax in it .
Is this the connection im looking for?

 

Take it back and tell them, could be maf, boost solenoid got oil in it, sticking waste gate, list goes on.

Get them to sort it, at their expense.

 

Doubt it very much.

I'm guessing that you don't have a boost gauge here...
Does it do it only under hard acceleration, and at approximately what rpm? Is it a fairly harsh stop in acceleration, or more gentle?

 

Generally Happens between 4-5 ,000 Rpm.
Moderate to hard Acceleration.

If im accelerating hard from 2nd up throught the gears its fine.
But when im generraly starting of in third is when it happens.

No Boost Gauge im afraid
