After buying my first scooby last year i found the oil level to be too full. Dropped the level to the correct level but found the car very lumpy. Cleaned all the pipes with break cleaner and solanoid and the problem cleared slightly and then came bake again. Then replaced the plugs and rubbers on the 82,500 service on my95 wagon but made no differance. Then thought it could be cat so i put a full magnex from turbo back with a upgraded panel filter but is still getting worse. Now took it for 90,000 service with new belt and still just as bad.
Please, Please help before i do somthing daft and sell.

When i try to accelerate hard the car feels like its missing and as if its not getting rid of gasses quick enough or there is not enough petrol. Last night (on a private road) the fastest it would go was 132mph.After that it just felt like it was flooding.

tested them how?? It sounds like a missfire, but without actually driving it, very hard to say based on your description.
If you dont knw how much boost the car is getting, then you cant say its not the problem. They really go crap, with no boost. Do you have any air leaks in the intake system?? They can really cause strange things to happen. Is all the turbo/intercooler piping, clips etc sound, with no leaks anywhere??

Thanks for your interst 'stevieturbo' it is much help.
I have checked all the hosses for leaks and all the clips are fine so it could be something to do with the boost do you think? I'm thinking about taking it to well lane turbo to set it up as some one at a subara gararge at Doncaster said the computer might need setting up as i have put a full s/s exhaust on.

Boost doesnt sound unreasonably low. As for the setting the computer up, because of the exhaust, while there may be an element of truth in that, its mostly bollox. And there are only a handful of people who can actually do anything with the std computer anyway, and I bet they arent one of them. The car will easily cope with an uprated exhaust, air filter etc.
I think its time that more investigation was done, in case there is a mechanical problem with the engine. Best thing to do is ask people here, if there is anyone local to you that they would reccommend as someone who you can trust to troubleshoot the car, and if necessary repair.
What do the plugs look like?? any oil etc?? A compression test may be worth while. There are too many things to try and explain, without actually seeing the car.
Does the boost pick up early? maybe there is a prob with the turbo ( unlikely though I think )

Timing belt?? Fellow scooby mate of mine had really bad problems with his car after service. Big vibrations when acclerating, uneven idle etc etc - all traced to a badly adjusted timing belt - car is fine now.

Two thoughts,
try new plugs - gapped to around 0.7
Second though - are all the plugs equally coloured - or is one more sooty than the others - could be a leaking injector..

Stevieturbo said about the fuel pump so whilst i was under the bonet looking i was checking the fuel line and when i touched the filter i could feel a slight knocking coming through and then when listening carfully could hear it. Could this be part of the problem or is it normal.

you say the plugs are black meaning overfuelling possibly a coolant temp fault (very broad guess)or coils get the fuelling checked out on a r/road should be able to pinpoint the problem on the rollers
