Thinking of getting myself a new exhaust. Found the the HKS Hiper, any views on this system?? Also, if you were at the back of the car, will it sit at an angle OR does it just sit facing out straight. (Just a bit pernickity!)

I've got this system on mine, the sound is awesome
The backbox is very "seeable" and it does come out at an angle (which is why is comes with a mid section, you can't use a standard mid with it)
Here's a picture of mine, can't see the zorst too well, but it'll give you an idea on the angle of the dangle

Cheers Mega, that's a better reply than i was looking for!! I was behind a dude yesterday with a scoob & caught him at a set of lights. Asked him what his pipe was and it was an HKS. Thing is, unlike yours his came straight out?? Lost.....

Bee, I think you can just buy a HKS backbox and build your own system, that way it will come straight out, it wont be a Hiper though but perhaps thats what the other one had?

I've also got a HKS Hyper, sounds awesome and as Mega says it comes out at a slight angle but not too much. Apparently this is to try and straighten the exhaust as much as possible!
HKS also do a Super Dragger exhaust which may come out straight, I can't remember.

The HKS Super Dragger system comes out straight where as the Hyper Muffler system comes out at an angle. I have the Super Dragger system and it is outstanding ! Not the loudest exhaust on the market but it makes up for that with build quality. If u want loud then i suggest the scoobysports system. Happy shopping

Having owned a Hks Hyper Ti tip and believe it is probably the best on the market in performance.
The reason why the tailpipe comes out at an angle is because the hyper is one of few systems which as very little twists or curves in the pipework which gives a better freeflowing exhaust.
A little noisey but well worth it for performance but i would get a good downpipe to go with it. (Scoobysport woulb be my choice)
