Work colleague has a Saxo Furio 1.4.
It is intermittantly cutting out whenever he deaccelerates and then accelerates without actually coming to a stop. ie town driving in 2nd or 3rd gear.
Garage dont seem to be able to diagnose the problem as it never does it with them. (why does this always happen?)
Anyone any ideas??
Just thought you might be able to help

No idea about that particular model, but a friend has a VTS, and has had a lot of trouble with crank sensors/map sensor/lambda sensor. I wouldnt imagine that they are any different on lesser models as the injection system is basically the same.
Although the crank sensor did cause the engine to stop. Lambda/MAP just caused very bad running, including easy stalling
