Importing cars from Europe - help

I'm looking to but 2-3 cars from the Continent to save money (for my mum/dad/girlfriend)

Its taking me ages scanning the internet - does anyone know any decent sites. The cheapest place is apparently Belgium, and given the e/r is still good I cant hold off any longer.

I'm after a:

1. Honda Civi 1.4i Automatic 5 door
2. Any cheap Renault clio - prob 1.2 5 door
3. BMW 320 tdi

Noticed the cost of the Scooby on Broadspeed.co.uk - normal 4 door turbo is less than £15k - probably even cheaper when you consider e/r's have increased much more recently

Hi Steve,

Not the answer you wanted but have you looked at the motorpoint site. Less hassle as they are already registered but a little bit more than if you did it yourself. A lot cheaper than UK dealers and selling lots of cars at the moment (I wonder why ?).

My Dad bought a new Honda Prelude from Motorpoint and was very please with the whole process. Got a very good deal as well. They were advertising in the Telegraph or Times about 6 months ago and had an STi 4door, brand new for 24k, prices have dropped a bit since then.

Bizarre name. How do you manage to remember what order your random letters come in? Or is it code for something...

It's not Broadspeed who are the problem per se, it's Autotek who did indeed take the money and run.

Yes, come to think of it I do remember an import for sale - are Motorpoint, therefore in Derby?
