Petrol smell from the vents at the engine cold start at outside low temps
Gents,
We have around -20C temperatures these days in my area and I started noticing when I start the car on a cold morning, I smell Petrol from the vents. Smells go away after the car is warmed up and never come back until the next cold start in the morning.
I used a flashlight to check if there is any leakage around the engine, and injectors but saw nothing.
Are there any specific points where fuel may leak from the hoses? I guess a hose may get hardened in the cold and a cold hose leaks until it's warmed up.
Please advise.
