front windscreen top moulding removal
there is some rust across the top of the roof on top of the front windscreen on my gf8 and it looks like rain water is making its way under the top moulding past the windsreen and into the cabin
The moulding isnt in great condition but I would like to avoid breaking it, it there a guide or any advice on how to remove the moulding across the top of the front windscreen?
I have checked youtube without success
cheers

cheers, I figured that the top trim is held in by clips based on the parts diagram, it came out pretty easily with gentle persuasion from a trim removal lever
the windscreen will need to come out in order to tackle the surface rust along the top of the screen and down the a pillars so that will require removal of the mouldings down the side of the a pillars so I will replace the top trim and the clips before it all goes back in

Here's a top tip: when the windscreen gets refitted, make sure to fit the clips down the side of the windscreen BEFORE THE MASTIC GOES OFF! Else you end up with not being able to fit them properly, as the fingers on the clips fit underneath the edge of the glass and the mastic is difficult to remove once hardened.
