Default water in foot well!!! advice needed...

Hi guys i have a RB5 and this has happened......

Pulled onto the drive after work yesterday and looked down at the passenger side and saw water down the plastic kick trim, i checked the floor and to my surprise it is soaked..

I have rust on the roof next to the trim of the windscreen so i think it might be getting in there..
Dos the trim come off easily? I think Dale told me a long time ago that if that trim comes off it cant go back on so a new one is needed!! am i right or have i made that up?
The trim that goes from bottom of windscreen up and over roof to the bottom of rear screen is that easy to remove to?

OR

is there anywhere else i should look at before having roof repaired and resprayed and screen refitted etc etc ££££££££

Cheers for any advice guys...

Daz.

Mine leaked through a clip that holds the scuttle panel down. The one that is yellow with a white mating part. If you take the heater blower off (about 4 screws) and tip water on the windscreen then get in the footwell with a torch and look up to see if it is leaking. I bought a whole set of new clips was about a tenner (3 of the yellow ones and about 7 or 9 I think of the oval ones as they snap easy) Stayed dry so far.
Also check the drain pipe is through the floor with its bung, just above the ecu.
