Not starting.
Classic impreza turbo 1999 had starter motor reconditioned and a new solenoid but still does not start, the battery is good and the petrol pump runs but the starter does not turn over what else can it be? thanks.
Have you tried a direct link from battery to starter solenoid to confirm its the starter circuit?
If the starter motor then runs it's either the alarm starter motor immobiliser circuitry/relay or the ignition switch/starter supplywiring.

AFAIK the only relay in the starter circuit for a UK MY99 will be the one on the Sigma alarm PCB.

Some more info here from when I had a similar issue: https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...g-no-fuel.html
I swapped the Sigma alarm unit, as I had a spare with a programmed fob. From what I remember, but am not certain, there were relays the same, one for the starter and the other for the indicators. So if you might be able to swap the relays over, and just not have the indicator flash with the arm/disarm. It would require soldering.
If you can buy another M30 alarm, with a paired fob, its a simple swap an you can change the PIN and add your old fobs to it.
