Default Blob Oil Pump Check/Change

So my 2004 WRX is on about 105,000 miles and I am doing the second cambelt change and water pump. I have been reading various threads and noticed discussions and issues with the oil pump.

Should I be replacing the oil pump as well? Should I be taking it off to check the back screws? I don’t know what the oil pressure is like because I don’t have an aftermarket oil pressure guage.

I also see that you can buy the aftermarket pressure relief valve without the recess. Is it also a good idea to be fitting this or is it not necessary, or not that eay?
