Default Oil leak and smoke, rocket cover gasket?

When my car has been sitting for a while, which is often at the moment, and I drive it there is a strong smell of burnt oil and some smoke from the osf end. This all burns off after a bit of driving and doesn't happen until next time its left.

I'm assuming it's the rocker cover gasket from a bit of research, I still need to get the car up to check it properly. Would this be the lh or rh gasket set / should I do both at the same time / can anyone link me to a good source? It looks like ICP are OoS of the full kit.

Thanks

Hoping that the weather allows me to get the car up and have a proper look tomorrow.

When ordering would the drivers side (UK) be LH or RH? I'm not sure if it should be as you look from the front of the car to rear or from drivers seat through front window.
Thanks.

You should always look forward from drivers seat.

Hence the arrow on diagrams

I recently fitting the non Subaru kit and have to say it was good quality , only thing I didn't like was the grey gasket maker it came with , stuff is probably good but I had the proper threebond stuff I had already got from ICP so just used that , when doing the job you must make sure your surfaces are spotless ! Can't stress that enough , torque the bolts if possible aswell and use the sealant sparingly it's messy stuff

Thanks both.

So I'm after the RH gasket primarily, but may just order the full kit. I'll keep the tip about clean surfaces and buying decent three bond in mind. I'll let you know how it goes 😊
