a little oil in the intercooler is not uncommon, a large amount usually indicates turbo issues i.e. oil seals
some people fit oil catch cans to stop oil in the intercooler

The plastic cover is the timimg hole plug item 7 below (Plug-timing hole, 11413AA033)
Were you can view the flywheel.

If it's oily under the cover you may have a leaking crankshaft seal or oil separator cover although it's more likely to be just oil pooling on the top from a slightly loose turbo outlet pipe.

Only thing in there to leak is rear main seal.
I'd think if that was leaking enough to come out the hole you'd know as your clutch would be slipping

Intercooler doesn't look to bad but I think you've found your original leak. That oil on the inspection cover appears to be soaking out of the cover but pull it off and see is it wet underneath. Pics would be handy try not to touch the underside when removing.

Looks more like its blowing out of the y connection that is attached to the intercooler to me, that dark line where it meets the intercooler is suspect, I'd remove the y pipe, check it's seals (if it has any) then reattach and tighten.

I think so yeah, just split it and see, you'll have to to sort it anyway

From that picture there it seems to be running from the top right hand corner of the bell housing down to the cover which would add up with your boost pipe leaking

Those newage boost pipes are robust enough. Their that robust that you need good clamps to seal them properly so unless you can visually see anything wrong with it it's probably ok.

So all that oil on the underside of the intercooler on the pipe work is potentially from a bad gasket!

i think first clean/wash undertray(like brake cleaner etc.) then follow the leaks maybe you have another leaks like rocker cover etc.
