Anyone able to get me the chassis and engine numbers for YX59 VLT?

Both can be obtained from the V5C (VIN plate is at base of Passenger side "B" Pillar between the doors).

Silver Diesel Hatch ?? Checking if the engine has been replaced??

 

I don't have the option of either as it's not my car - looking at buying and was seeing if it was the later 'slightly revised' version with stronger bottom end..

 

pretty sure the Wiesel didn't get the 'better' motor till around 2012?? even then.............

The only apparent difference being first L for MY09/10 signifies Euro4 and K for MY11 signifies Euro5

The block was upgraded in August 2010 from engine number #384513
and again for MY11 in December 2010 from engine number #410004

Crankshaft upgraded from April 2010 from engine number #361963

 

Ahh I was misinformed then. The engine number on this one is 336481 so defo throws that plan out the window
