It does seem to come with a lot of extra costs, and also I've seen a couple of sets of cracked rotated up-pipes on eBay. This leads me to think that unless the up-pipe is designed well, with support and expansion sections, it might crack easily? Ie unless well designed, reliability over an OEM location might be compromised.

There also seems to be a lot of standard position turbos now that make really good power, so from that POV it might not be clear cut if it's worth it either.

The two things that I personally like about rotated setups is that the turbo is easier to get access to, if you're inclined to change setups often, and you can run an external wastegate.

I don't think it's clear cut anymore that if you want 550-600, you must go rotated.

I'd be tempted to look at the Precision bolt on unit, we had some astonishing results on these lately.
Direct bolt on and good for 450-500hp on pump fuel, 530-550 on a dash of meth and we even mapped one lately with a 60hp shot of nitrous which did getting on 600hp and 525lbft from a 2.1 litre engine.

Thanks for ur reply
I do see alot of rotated stuff damaged your probably rite .too weak or just getting hammered.but
,I quite like the sound of that, which precision turbo was it?
I was already going to add the meth anyway.its a hell of alot cheaper that way.rotated is expensive going all brandnew.
Is that turbo ok for lag??

Precision only sell one bolt on turbo, I believe it's called the 5530. Yes it spools very well considering it's size and we've fitted loads of them.
They can be purchased from us at Enginetuner.
