GC8 Front Subframe removal guide??
Anyone have a link to a good one? Googling didn't really bring much back which was surprising. Had two steering rack bolts shear when taking them out and can't be arsed laying on my back trying to drill them out. Also need the steering knuckle out of the way to tackle a stripped nut on the downpipe to turbo flange so just going to drop the lot.
Looks like the 4 main bolts, the engine mount bolts and then I'm either unbolting the track rods from the steering rack or trying to get them out of the hub. Also the ball joints on the wishbones.
As an aside, where's best to buy new track rods and ball joints for a classic these days?

For the parts I'd go for import car parts or AS performance. If you're looking to upgrade definitely AS performance.
