Default Blob centre exhaust length

Does anyone know the length of a centre section on a blobeye. Mine seems to be about 6inch too short. Are there 2 lengths

does it not affect the length if it's decatted? Or maybe You Have a section from a classic.

UK Newage about 1260mm (shorter due to extra length required for 2nd cat section of downpipe)
UK Classic about 1350mm
Early JDM Newage 1350mm

Not normally as the joint between downpipe and centre pipe is "usually" a donut joint to allow some flex in the system.

UK Newage system using Subaru naming policy for the different sections

Is the down pipe OEM standard, or has someone fitted a one piece sports cat/decat version and fitted the wrong type??

its got a 3" decat system fitted.. the backbox and centre section are 1 piece and fit to the downpipe using a flat gasket. (Not donut)

If you are trying to mix and match 3" versions then there's your problem. Would have been handy to know at the start......

The fact it wasn't OEM but decatted and thus doesn't conform to the usual 4 piece newage pattern.

Looks as if you've got a Classic down pipe with a Newage centre pipe = 4-6" gap.
