Default 2001 wrx centre section length

Trying to find out the mesurements of the 2001 wrx centre section, as i have an import, brought myself a ninja center section but is about 8 inch's too short..

Yeah I had the same problem pal
I had to buy a decat down pipe(magnex) to solve the problem.
The original wrx downpipe angle makes the aftermarket centre section not fit.
Magnex downpipe has a better angle giving you more length.

ah right, cheers i have a new HKS downpipe which replace the two downpipe sections as well. So hopefully bunging both on should fix the issue.. Just need to save up for a remap the now..

The newage import retains the same exhaust line as the classics without the extra cat at the bottom of teh downpipe, for an import newage you need a centre for a classic, or swap your downpipe for a newage one (decat or otherwise - with underfloor cat as appropriate).
