Default Front Bumper Support Bar

So I have a P1 and I need to replace the front Bumper Support bar, does anyone know if they are universal or do they differ from classic Pre/Post face lift and JDM to UK market

Basically i have found these 2 and wondering if wither will fit a Impreza P1

"JDM version"

https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/par...y=&searchPart=

"Uk Version"

https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/par...y=&searchPart=

Thanks in advance

Using my old P1's VIN the part number comes up as 57760FA680

Australia and Japan use 57760FA670

you could always phone them to confirm.....

Why?
Like all Subarus the P1 is/was a JDM based "production"car built for the UK market and as such has to comply with the UK's "The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986" .

I've just replace my 99UK bar with a V4 STI bar, although there is a lot more to the earlier one it fits fine with no modification.

I was about to take a grinder to it but the bumper fitted over it fine, it just picks up on the same lower mounting points for the bumper. Guess the only issue would be if you're running a front mount Intercooler. The JDM spec ones appear to use a different number plate mount, the UK one screws to the bumper itself whereas the JDM one has the number plate mounts built into the bar.

Where did you get the v4 bumper bar from?

Jap Performance Parts in Crawley about 5 years ago, only just got round to fitting it, had the front end off for radiator and cam belt so took the opportunity to do it all in one go.

Shouldn't be a problem fitting a UK bar to a JDM car then I guess? I have a FMIC so instead of cutting off those lower bits from the JDM support bar I thought I could just as well order a UK one instead?

Should be fine, I'd give it an extra coat of paint before fitting, the paint from the factory is really thin.

As for the reasons mentioned above.
