Hi All,

I had my STI mapped by a well known Subaru mapper this week and he's noticed that where all other STI's of similar mileage and age would be on full boost by 3,300rpm mine refuses to deliver full boost until around 3,800rpm.

He suggested getting the turbo reconditioned as a possible fix, I have noticed mine whines a bit when under load...

Has anyone experienced this before and is it possible that it could just be a fault with the actuator on the turbo?

Spec is:
2005 2.0 STI Widetrack
45,000 miles
3 port boost solenoid
3'' Japspeed Decat
2.5'' Straight Centre Pipe
Prodrive Back Box
