Hi guys. I've recently taken my version 7 sti import to a rolling road tuning session. When I collected the car the technician told me I had a problem. For some reason the cars producing 24psi boost between 5k revs and 6k revs then dropping down to 12-13psi. It's also only producing 270bhp, when I was told to expect around 310bhp. When I bought it, it had a bleed valve, cat back exhaust and hks look alike dump valve fitted. Its also got a 'tuned by RAZO' sticker on the dash. The technician said it could be a faulty waste gate or it needs an electronic boost adjuster fitted.

Anyone else had this before or have any idea what could be causing the problem. Any help would be really appreciated as the tuning company are quoting a fortune to sort it. Thanks in advance.

 

sounds like its rather poorly, best bet would be to get it to a specialist and let them work there magic to isolate and correct the problem, could be any number of issues, from the bleed valve to a dozen different sensors
