how do you get the gearbox out on a 2002 impreza its stuck on the two locating bolts

 

Probbaly havent removed the locating pin between the clutch fork

8mm allen head bolt, on the passenger side of the box, remove this and put an 8mm thread bolt into it and screw in then pull like a bugger

Hmm I seem to recall that it's a 10mm Allen key, but regardless of size, I'd recommend an Allen key on a 3/8 drive, as in my experience they can be very tight (don't think I could have done mine with a normal Allen key)
