APEXI or RCM intake filter kit
Need a filter by next week and been offered a Apexi kit and less than half price for the RCM kit I was holding out for.
RCM predicts another week till they are ready.
Is the RCM worth being twice the price of the Apexi ? Is a fairly standard STi blob with FMIC/Decat 3" downpipe/system and a few bits
Im swaying towards saving £100 and getting the Apexi and mapping next week but SHOULD I hold out for the RCM

Save yourself the money and the RCM tax
Buy the Group A and weld a MAF bung on
Save £100 quid

Could I bolt this up to the Group A filter cone trumpet , or would running the MAF further away from the filter cause an issue ?
Also would the T34 70MM flange be a better option ?

I’d go for the apexi with the laille and beatrush heat box
My mates got one for sale with the zerosports intake pipe if your intrested worth the few quid extra to keep the intake temps down instead of having the filter open to engine bay heat

Bit the bullet and ordered the Grp A cone in 70mm , gona match it to the MAF adapter supplied with the FMIC kit (75mm) and see what clearance is like.. if I need more room ill get a MAF plate welded onto the Intake trumpet
