Default Oil cooler vs modine & oil pressure

I've read a few posts indicating this might be the case, but just wanted to confirm this and also understand the reasons why. I recently installed a Spec C oil cooler using all OEM Spec C parts, and removed my stock oil modine in the process. I am now noticing a slightly lower oil pressure reading when cruising at 3000rpm (about 5+ bar instead of 6+ bar). Haven't noticed at WOT yet. Cold start idle and warm idle pressures seem to be similar at 7 bar and 3 bar respectively so that seems unaffected. Can anyone shed more light on whether this is normal? Thanks!
