Afternoon all,

Looking at some other mods to get on my WRX 2.0 PPP but unsure as to what else to really go for..,

So far (short list to start with lol)
Blitz R backbox
Stage 1 Map
HKS BOV & Mushroom Filter

Basically looking at getting an decat centre section and downpipe.., any recommendations on which one's? And am I right in thinking that the Blitz narrows to a 2.5' from the centre section to the down pipe? Also any other mods in general that you would usually go for?

3 port boost solenoid and ported headers will help with boost control and help spool. recirc valve will run better than bov. if you must have the noise get an adjustable one. bov usually makes engine run a bit rich.

Agreed pointless mod on an Impreza. BOV I'd ditch aswell.

Custom remap, 3 port boost, 3" system with polished and ported exhaust manifold. Dry panel filter not oiled. Uprated fuel pump, and uprated spark plugs.

If you want more power new turbo and injectors.

Sorry to butt in guys but what does a 3 port boost actually do and how would it affect the turbo on an older, or drivability should I say (bugeye 2002) would it require a remap?

it allows the mapper to fine tune the boost control better as it has a third port which vents off air. if you havent mapped your car and its all standard then theres little point in fitting it. its usually fitted along with other mods then mapped to make the most of them.

what is a stage 1 map?
ppp should be 265 ( not sure on bugeye) do not think anything; map filter 3 port-pointless with that power will do a lot better than that
needs new turbo for start -vf34 but thats another 1k -parts and remap in the car
keep it like it is or sell it and buy jdm sti
