Jap Cars Mad

Privilege just quoted me £952 with a £550 excess with the mods (17" Alloys, Eibach Springs and Cone air filter). What do they think I am, a 17 year old driving a Porche 911.

Tesco quoted £714 without the mods (have to call them about the mods).

Elephant quoted £620 with all the mods, but they don't do monthly. Might speak to my dad about paying the year and I pay him by standing order.

I am 25, 3 years NCB, SP30 3 years ago.

All of the companies as closing early because of the Jubilee. I bought the car on Saturday and haven't driven it yet, I am going out of my mind.

I use Adrian Flux.
I get hammered with the usual "excess" story (I'm at £350 excess) but the wifey over the phone asked if any of the mods made a performance difference (I have a MY00 Scoob)
With a list of cosmetic and engine mods on the car, the only one she was concerned about was the exhaust, and she asked how much of an increase it was likely to give.......
