Apologises if this is in the wrong section but not sure exactly what the problem is and sorry for the lengthy post but thought it best for the full story.

Car is a blob STi non widetrack

When I bought the car it had a problem with the handbrake, took it to my local Subaru guru and once he stripped down the rear brakes found that the shoes had literally fallen apart so new shoes and mechanism installed.
He said that the rear discs need replacing as they were worn but as I needed the car for a particular weekend I took it home and ordered new discs.
Coming back over this weekend the n/s rear wheel area was making a rotational knocking noise so said about this when I dropped the car off for the new discs.
This knocking was diagnosed as the hub bearing so new rear bearings and rear discs.

Picked the car up on Saturday and took it for a good 60 mile drive and everything OK, however, just gone to take the car out tonight and its got another rotational knocking on the n/s rear wheel and the steering wheel is being pretty much ripped out of my hands by spearing to the right plus the back end seems to be all over the place. Iv literally just driven the car round the block no faster than 15mph and the above is happening.
When I went to reverse it back on the drive its making a screeching noise again from the rear and after having a look round the car the n/s rear disc is warm, o/s is cold.
Sticking caliper? Diff?

Anyone any ideas as this is starting to get annoying now!

 

First off I would check the hub nut hasn't come loose.

If it's torqued up correctly then check. ....
Caliper & pads (as you say)
Hand brake shoe adjustment.
Wheel bearing (new ones will fail pretty quick if not fitted correctly)

Take it back to your “Subaru guru “ who did the work
