brake booster vacuum line
Hi, quick question about the vacuum line that runs from the intake manifold to the brake booster. It seems to be under vacuum even with the engine off. Are there any issues with the brakes after having it disconnected temporarily whilst working on the engine?
Thanks. Just a bit worried since I'm messing with the brake system.

There is a non return valve in the line to hold vacuum for when on boost.
it's an item that gets forgotten when fitting silicon hoses....................

I assume if I just reconnect the stock line, the vacuum will be restored once the engine is started, i.e. no issue?
Being able to move the line will be helpful in accessing my new catch can which will sit underneath it.

If you remove the manifold to bulkhead hose make sure it's refitted the same way it came off.
