Default Help speedo

Hello all my Speedo has stopped working took the clocks out and the drive in the back of the clock is round and not square so have found the problem. Tried to prize the adapter of the back of the clock and it has split the plastic on the clock and won't release so probly need new clocks now as Well but any one no how to remove it and where to buy a new one thanks

What year take it its 96, UK or JDM Take it its JDM. DCCD or not tho it looks like it. Have you removed the DCCD cluster ?

Did you unscrew all the screws above?
You'll also need the needle off...that often results in problems refitting....

Yes it's a 96 jdm I bought it as it is now with no dccd mate

Take a picture of the front of the clocks I've probably got a set.

It's the converter adapter that's rounded out on the back of the clock that i need aswell

Thought that looked like a converter. Someone has changed your clocks or the gearbox lol cause there DCCD clocks. Will have a look and see about the clocks and we would have a converter. Someone has probably glued the converter to the clocks cause they can be troublesome. Is your car a WRX or an STI.

Sti to be fair I will double check now. And yet the adapter on the back was very hard to get of now makes sense that some one may have glued it in the past

Have a set of clocks here and an adapter here but the rev limit is 7000 but that wouldn't matter that's why I asked was it an STI or WRX cause iirc the STI rev limit was 8k and the wrx was 7k. If you need them take a photo of the complete rear of the clocks where the plugs fit in.

ime at work at the moment mate but will get a picture for you later just out of curiosity how much you would want for them posted or collected depending on your location
