Speedo and Origin B2 Speedo?
Just quickly wacked the B2 in to the car today and Im finding a big difference between the two speedos.
To get the B2 Speedo up to 40mph I had to floor the car to 50mph (in car speedo) and boy it did feel like 50mph.
How do you compare the two?
Love the MASSIVE speedo display but not sure if I can go by it.
Ray
Big thanks to Jaycee aka Jason at alpha-telecom.co.uk for supplying the B2 and the after sales service.

Only way you can check which is more accurate is to time yourself over a measured mile at constant speed - there's a couple round here - one on the M62 that the plod use to set up the vascar and the other I know about is on the Keighley bypass dual carriageway. Not in your area but they are about if you look / ask...
Apparently the local traffic division round here check them at 40 and 60mph (90 secs and 60 secs respectively to cover the distance) - you can work out the plus/minus in speed by ratios...
Check the speedo and the B2 and see which is the nearer - my road angel is 10% different to my speedo during general driving but I need to check to find the accurate speed relative to the known datum...

Origin B2
My B2 also shows different figures (less by about 5-7mph) to the Scoob speedo. Although around 60mph the gap between the two is closer (2-3mph difference).

Ray I know what you mean. When I picked up my JDM car I thought they'd made a c*ck up when calibrating the speedo cas it felt like I was driving a lot faster than the speedo said and what I was used to.
The I got a B2 and it became clear that the speedo calibration was in 100% agreement with the B2. It gives you a bit mor confidence driving cos you know that you can go just that little bit faster without worrying about setting of Gatso's etc.
