Have had a D1 sandwich plate on my hawk for years ... no issue with clearance at all. Is the plate of unuasally large size?

Can't snap a pic of it on the car since the engine is in pieces but it looked like this. Also with defi sensors on it.

I could give you the dimensions if needed cause it's in attic with all the other stuff.

Maybe the perrin one is exceptionally large? I did however have stock headers ... maybe people with aftermarket have more clearance issues

Done mine today. Temp in a galley plug under the intercooler\throttle body. This was the hardest to do. Oil pressure under the altenator took 10 min. Boost just cut the dump valve line and t it. Took 2 min.
The most tricky were getting to the galley plug had to take intercooler, throttle body and a coupe of pipes to get to it. Highly recomend a crows foot spanner to tighten the new sender up with. The intercooler was a bitch to get back on but only because i changed the throttle coupling and it was a bit tight. Getting the wires to the top of the dash was a bit tricky but i used some welding wire to poke down from the top then pull the up. I pre wrapped them together with insulation tape and did them all at once.
